Principes : Enseignement dirigé sur le dépistage du cancer du sein par mammographie, par petit groupe, avec revue de dossiers radio-cliniques. L’enseignement théorique est associé à des sessions pratiques de lecture de listes de mammographies de dépistage sur console dédiée, avec système d’auto-évaluation.

Objectifs pédagogiques de la formation (savoirs théoriques et pratiques) : Le radiologue est en capacité d’analyser et interpréter des clichés de mammographies de dépistage, ainsi que de communiquer ses conclusions, en conformité avec les référentiels de bonnes pratiques. Le nombre restreint de participants garantit une forte interaction lors des parties théoriques et un important travail de lectures (interprétation) de mammographies de dépistage. L’infrastructure technique mise à disposition ainsi que l’utilisation de la plateforme de formation FEMDep permet des conditions de lecture optimales, ainsi que la possibilité de prendre connaissance de ses propres performances en fin de lecture (voir flyer en annexe de la plateforme FEMDep).

Die Medizinische Physik ist ein Bereich, der sich ständig weiterentwickelt, umso mehr in der heutigen Zeit, in der wir den Beginn einer neuen Ära erleben. Es gibt viele wichtige Entdeckungen und Entwicklungen, die unsere klinische Praxis in den nächsten Jahren radikal verändern werden. Translationale Forschung zu neuartigen Konzepten der Strahlenbiologie, künstliche Intelligenz, neue medizinische Bildgebungstechniken und andere sind die Haupttreiber dieses starken Windes des Wandels. Neue Technologien und Behandlungsschemata in die klinische Standardpraxis zu bringen, war schon immer eine der Aufgaben des Medizinphysikers.

Die Planungen für 2024 haben bereits begonnen: Der direkte Praxisbezug mit den interaktiven Live-case-Readings hat sich bewährt und wird fortgeführt und auch die vertiefenden Workshops und Zertifizierungskurse und die KI-Face-off-Session werden wir wieder aufgreifen. Hier gibt es wichtige Themen, wie das Lungenkrebsscreening oder die Prostata/Kardiale Bildgebung, welche auch in 2024 eine Rolle spielen werden. Ein ganz neuer Aspekt wird viele überraschen – wir werden noch interdisziplinärer und komplementärer.

Wir komplettieren auch den Kreis der Anrainer um den Bodensee und freuen uns, dass St. Gallen und Tübingen im Kreis der Organisatoren dabei sind.

Wir bleiben mit R3 weiter so dynamisch wie unser Fach.

The 9^th edition of the Skull Base Masterclass will take place in Athens, Greece. It is the 3^rd year that Athens will host this event, following 2 highly successful iterations.

The course will provide an excellent opportunity for participants to listen to lectures by an outstanding international faculty which will cover both the basis, as well as the latest developments of endoscopic skull base surgery.

Furthermore, participants will be able to get hands-on experience and update their knowledge of skull base anatomy through the cadaveric dissection sessions.

The course aims for participants to further their knowledge of skull base surgery and for both faculty and participants to fortify their professional relationships and enjoy their stay in Athens.

Over the past two decades image-guided therapies have expanded into every organ system and disease state. Interventional MRI (iMRI) has become vital to current multimodality image-guided therapies and also provides an entirely new platform for novel therapies.

In light of the rapid developments in the field and due to the success of the 13th iMRI Symposium 2022 in Leipzig, we would like to cordially invite you to attend the 14th Interventional MRI Symposium 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

The Interventional MRI Symposium is a cutting-edge platform for researchers, clinicians, and other healthcare specialists to present their latest results and interact with international leaders and innovators in the field.

The focus of the iMRI Symposium is the use of magnetic resonance imaging for the planning, control, and monitoring of surgical and radiological interventions. In particular, the topics of the 2024 iMRI symposium include interventional MRI systems, hybrid designs, instrumentation, MR pulse sequences, visualization techniques and data processing, navigation techniques, robotics, MR thermometry, thermal ablation techniques, MR guided biopsies, molecular imaging, MR guidance of cellular therapies, and targeted drug delivery.

The European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR) is excited to announce this year’s Annual Scientific Meeting which will take place from October 24-26 in Dubrovnik/Croatia. The programme includes many state-of-the-art educational sessions for experienced cardiovascular radiologists, but also for young (and not so young) radiologists just entering the field, and for radiographers who are a very important part of the cardiovascular imaging team. A special part of the programme will be dedicated to imaging pediatric and congenital heart disease, which is playing an increasingly important role in the management of these patients. During scientific sessions, you will be able to share your latest research results in the form of oral or poster presentations and discuss them with your colleagues. The EBCR diploma exam will be offered to radiologists wishing to obtain Level 3 certification in cardiovascular radiology. During the meeting, you can meet world-renowned experts in cardiovascular radiology in a warm and friendly atmosphere and learn about the latest technological achievements at symposia organized by our industry partners.
