Dear colleagues
We are pleased to invite you to the Annual Educational Course of the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology (SSNR) which will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Auditorium Ettore Rossi, Inselspital Bern. The overarching topic will be:
Neuroradiological Insights into Neurological Diseases: From Childhood to Adulthood.
This year’s course is jointly organised with SYNR – the Swiss Young Neuroradiology Society, highlighting our shared commitment to clinically relevant education and interdisciplinary exchange.
The program will focus on the role of neuroimaging in guiding diagnosis, management, and therapeutic decision-making across a range of neurological and neuroendocrine disorders. Emphasis will be placed on practical, case-based imaging interpretation and its integration into clinical workflows, from pediatrics to adulthood and across disease stages.
Across four focused sessions, the course will address:
- Pediatric and adult pituitary and sellar disorders, with an emphasis on imaging-based diagnostic strategies
- Interactive case battles featuring challenging neuroimaging cases presented by young neuroradiologists and neurologists
- Neurodegeneration I – Alzheimer’s disease and ARIA: imaging biomarkers and clinical implications
- Neurodegeneration II – Multiple sclerosis and neuroinflammation: imaging-guided diagnosis and monitoring in the era of disease-modifying therapies
The course brings together experts in neuroradiology, neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, and pathology, fostering an interdisciplinary perspective on how imaging informs clinical decision-making and patient care.
Our aim is to encourage dialogue across specialties, strengthen collaboration, and provide practical insights that can be directly applied in daily clinical practice.
We look forward to welcoming you to Bern for a day of engaging discussion and shared learning.
