Vth Swiss Forum Head and Neck Diagnostics 2024

Dear colleagues,

The Vth Swiss Forum Head and Neck Diagnostics 2024 has been conceived as a joint continuing medical education course of the Swiss Society of Radiology (SGR) and the Swiss Society of Neuroradiology (SGNR). This Vth joint symposium of the SGR and SGNR focuses in the Head and Neck tumors with emphasis on an Update on staging, imaging and therapy.

The scientific programme was planned and organized by Prof. Dr. C. Buitrago Téllez in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Minerva Becker, Prof. Dr. Franca Wagner, and Prof. Dr. K. Lövblad.

The Symposium provides structured Updates in the fields of staging and diagnostic imaging of oro-, hypopharyngeal and larynx tumors, therapy and posttreatment imaging of head and neck tumors, imaging and surgical therapy of salivary gland tumors, imaging of temporal bone lesions and navigation options and differential diagnosis of anterior skull base tumors, imaging, staging and surgical options of thyroid cancer and imaging and therapy of sinonasal tumors.

The Swiss Forum Head and Neck Diagnostics is an open Forum to bring together all specialities working in this interdisciplinary field and give important inputs for daily radiological work..

The Swiss Forum Head and Neck Diagnostics 2024 has been certified with 7 CME points category I by the Swiss Society of Radiology (SGR) and with 6 CME points category I of Swiss Society of ORL (SGORL) and is recognized as one of the CME acknowledged Courses for the European Diploma in Head and Neck Radiology.

The city of Olten in Canton Solothurn is in the heart of Switzerland, with the best railway connection of Switzerland. It is also easily accessible by the car because of the good access to the highway. The venue at the Kantonsspital Olten is 5 minutes from the railway station.
